The Venetian Macao is located in the Cotai Strip, it covers an area of 186, 000 square metres. When it opened, it was the largest single building hotel in Asia and the largest casino in the world. The 39-storey hotel building has more than 3, 000 standard hotel suites. It is the largest hotel building in Macau, with all suites exceeding 69 square metres. The design concept of the main building originated from the Venetian hotel project in L as Vegas, USA.
